Our first round of PYTHA Local User Meetings was a great success, with PYTHA Pros in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne enjoying the small group format and special guest speakers.

The Meetings kicked off in Brisbane on Wednesday, 12 June, in the Valley’s much-loved Whistle Dixie Bar and Cafe. Guests learned what’s new in Version 24, and took advantage of the opportunity to tackle their technical queries with Pytha Partners Manager, Michael Rowe.

Flexijet Australia’s Director, Peter Zoumboulakis, joined the group to share an impressive presentation: guests discovered how the German-made laser measuring system works seamlessly with PYTHA 3D CAD, offering a perfect partnership for power and precise planning and production.

We moved south for the next Local User Meeting, held in Biesse Group’s incredible Sydney Campus on Tuesday, 18 June. As in Brisbane, attendees were enthusiastic about Version 24’s new functions and capabilities, and were floored by Flexijet’s power and precision. They were also introduced to long-time Pytha Partners supporter, Finlease: with an impressive track record in sourcing woodwork equipment and software finance for our industry, Finlease’s Senior Finance Broker, Michael Ryan, explained how they can take the hassle out of finance applications.

Biesse’s NSW Sales Manager, David Da Costa, and Brand Sales Manager, Giuseppe Serpentino, provided a tour of the machinery and services area of the showroom, wrapping up a great event.

More New South Wales users joined us the following day, at the flagship showroom, Hive by Laminex. After learning about Flexijet and Finlease, and picking Michael’s brain about Version 24, the group learned how they could make the most of Laminex’s range of digital tools and consultations.

Victorians were next in line, with the first of two User Meetings rolling out in the Biesse Group Melbourne Campus in Altona on Thursday, 20 June. The User Meeting coincided with the Campus’ grand opening event, so guests saw CNC, edgebanding and boring machines up close and in action. Guests learned more about Flexijet, too, and enjoyed PYTHA Version 24 training delivered by our Trainer and Implementation Specialist, Paul Hadfield.

The final User Meeting of this round was held at Holmesglen TAFE’s Chadstone Campus on Friday, 21 June.  This group enjoyed meeting ‘The Joinery Coach’ and learning how Bruce Polling is helping cabinetmakers and shopfitters across the country jumpstart their operations, creating workflow, wealth and freedom.

We’re looking forward to heading to South Australia next (learn more about this event here), and visiting Unimac Machinery for another Sydney Meeting (learn more here). To register your interest in future events, complete the form here, and we’ll let you know when we’re heading to your city next.
