The inaugural PYTHA Asia Pacific User Meeting was held in Bali in April 2019, providing an excellent opportunity to get our Aussie customers together at the Pullman on Legian Beach.

The conference was the launching pad for all-things-V24, with delegates hearing the full run-down of the fifty-plus new features available in the new version of PYTHA 3D CAD, and learning plenty at a series of workshops including:

  • Advanced Modelling, presented by Willy Flassig
  • RadioLAB, presented by our very own Michael Rowe (Pytha Partners) and Udo Scherschmidt (PYTHA-Vertrieb Berlin)
  • Plotting in PYTHA, presented by Willy Flassig, Daniel Flassig and Michael Rowe
  • Workshop in PYTHA, presented by conference host, Aaron Boo (PYTHA SEA/Apec Network), and Udo Gepperth (PYTHA Netherlands/U-Tech).

Of course, it wasn’t all work and no play: the PYTHA team organised some beautiful Bali events, including an unforgettable Kecak and Fire Dance, a venture into the village of Ucad and a trek to the terraces of this awe-inspiring town, a tour of the Tanah Lot Temple and more. Guests were wined and dined all the way, too, enjoying a buffet by the beach, an unbelievably delicious lunch in a traditional Sudanese restaurant and supper under the stars at the stunning Pullman resort. (See some photos of our adventures here.)

Our enormous thanks to the PYTHA Asia Pacific Team for organising this spectacular event, and for the PYTHA pros who made the trek from Sydney, Canberra, Perth and Melbourne (including the lucky winner of our Bali competition – David Austin of Gibson Shopfitters). We know that our Aussie delegates came away with some expert knowledge, great memories and new friendships – what more could you want from a conference?
