Leading designers and architects from across the world are embracing the quality and versatility of Staron® Solid Surfaces, using the product in a wide range of applications.

The Staron® Design Awards were created almost nine years ago, and offer a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the versatility of the product and the design skill of those specifying it.

The 2017  Staron® Design Awards are now open, and designers, architects, developers, kitchen and bathroom designers and students are invited to submit their favourite design projects featuring Staron® Solid Surfaces.

Entries may be submitted in any one of the following three categories:

Commercial category – open to any installed commercial/industrial project (the winning entrant receives a prize of $2000 cash along with marketing exposure)

Residential category – open to any installed house/apartment project (with winner taking home prize of $1000 and enjoying great marketing exposure)

Concept category – open to any idea or concept that has not yet been realised. This can be a drawing, graphic or sketch, with a prize of $250 plus marketing exposure.

The Staron® Design Award judges panel includes Sophie Watson from Indesign Magazine, Stephen Varady from Stephen Varady Associates and Amanda Stanaway from Woods Bagot. With their wide and varied experience, the judging panel brings a vast wealth of knowledge to the judging process. The judges meet in Sydney when the Staron® Design Awards close to decide on a winner for each category.
