At our very special Gala event in the Sunset Room at Sydney’s iconic Luna Park, the founder of PYTHA 3D CAD, Willy Flassig, entertained the crowd with some hilarious tales about the very first trip he made to Australia to meet the then Australian dealer (think long dusty roads, kangaroos and a jet-lagged German who’s landed somewhere in the middle of Western Australia!). Although he had little hope for an avalanche of Aussie customers at the time, Willy shared his delight at the strength of our PYTHA community twenty years on.
The twentieth anniversary of PYTHA in Australia was a great time to acknowledge the industry stalwarts who’ve been long-time users of this incredible software. We were honoured to have the following companies join us at the Gala, where they were recognised for their loyalty and support:
Euroline Joinery & Interiors
Furniture Design Studio
Gellibrand Cabinet Works
Interfar Furniture Systems
Yarra Valley Shopfitters
With the formalities of the evening out of the way, guests rocked the dancefloor to the tunes of the Steve Foxe Quintet and the stunning Emma Birdsall (with thanks to Program Partner, Biesse). Some dress up props made for some interesting GIFS at the photo-station (‘cause who doesn’t want to wear a wig at some stage, right?!) – we’ll share these images with dinner guests via email.
We’d like to extend a huge thanks to our program partners (ASOFIA, Austaron Surfaces and Biesse), our support sponsors (Family Wealth Advisory Sylvania, OptiBuild Services and Finlease) and our education partners (Holmesglen and TAFE NSW) – these companies and institutions continually offer their support to your industry, so make sure you get to know them better if you don’t already.
