Celebrating PYTHA Pioneers

At our very special Gala event in the Sunset Room at Sydney’s iconic Luna Park, the founder of PYTHA 3D CAD, Willy Flassig, entertained the crowd with some hilarious tales about the very first trip he made to Australia to meet the then Australian dealer (think long dusty roads, kangaroos and a jet-lagged German who’s landed somewhere in the middle of Western Australia!). Although he had little hope for an avalanche of Aussie customers at the time, Willy shared his delight at the strength of our PYTHA community twenty years on. The twentieth anniversary of PYTHA in Australia was a great time to acknowledge the industry stalwarts who’ve been long-time users of this incredible software. We were honoured to have the following companies join us at the Gala, where they were recognised for their loyalty and support:     20 years Emstar Kitchens 15 years Bigway Interiors ARC Joinery Premier Furniture Rest Interior Emerald Shopfitters Euroline Joinery & Interiors Metro Joinery Minosa 10 years Furniture Design Studio Gellibrand Cabinet Works Interfar Furniture Systems Maxton Fox Ryde Joinery Yarra Valley Shopfitters With the formalities of the evening out of the way, guests rocked the dancefloor to the tunes of the Steve Foxe Quintet and the stunning Emma Birdsall (with thanks to Program Partner, Biesse). Some dress up props made for some interesting GIFS at the photo-station (‘cause who doesn’t want to wear a wig at some stage, right?!) – we’ll share these images with dinner guests via email. We’d like to extend a huge thanks to our program partners (ASOFIA, Austaron Surfaces and Biesse), our support sponsors (Family Wealth Advisory Sylvania,...

PYTHA Pro joins local tech support team

Pytha Partners are delighted to welcome Katie Winspear to their Sydney-based technical support team. With a trade certificate in Furniture Making (Cabinetmaking) and almost a decade of detailed production drafting and CNC machinery operation, Katie certainly knows her way around PYTHA and Analyzer software. As the lead draftsperson in her previous role, she also gets the pressure involved in producing plans – stalls in drawing equal stops in production, so keeping a job moving is critical. Katie’s super efficiency will help keep you on the move, and with her technical know-how, she challenges you to find a PYTHA problem she can’t solve! (Is your PYTHA Technical Service Agreement up to date? There are plenty of good reasons to maintain your service agreement – we’ve outlined at least four here and encourage you to jump on board today so you’re not left flailing tomorrow! We have moved!

We are super excited (and slightly exhausted) after settling in to OUR NEW OFFICE!  This new office will allow us to deliver more in-house training (and host some Pytha Parties, too, we hope!) and house our growing team. We’re planning an ‘official opening’ soon, but if you’re in the area, drop in and say hello: Suite 1, 11-15 Gray Street, Sutherland, NSW,...
